Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Manager

Location: Bernareggio (MB) · Team: Administration · Contract: Permanent · CCNL: Commercio · Job grade: [to be defined based on profile]

As Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Manager, you will join the Administration team and be responsible for managing both the receivables and payables cycles, as well as coordinating the administrative team. You will play a key role in ensuring that every service is correctly recorded and that costs are checked and consistent.

  • Receivables cycle: issuing and recording customer invoices, checking commercial conditions, managing credit notes and disputes.
  • Payables cycle: checking and recording supplier invoices, verifying costs against contracts and quotations, managing discrepancies.
  • Team management: coordinating a team of 5 administrative staff.
  • Analysis and reporting: supporting monthly closing, using Business Intelligence tools (QLIK).
  • Process improvement: proposing and implementing solutions for digitalisation, automation and traceability.
  • At least 4–5 years’ experience in complex administrative roles.
  • Strong knowledge of both receivables and payables cycles in B2B contexts.
  • Excellent command of Excel.
  • Good knowledge of English (minimum B2 level).
  • Background in transport/logistics companies.
  • Experience in managing people and teams.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SGA preferred) and Business Intelligence tools (QLIK).
  • Knowledge of additional languages (Spanish and/or French).
  • Accuracy and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Ability to analyse and critically interpret figures.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work across functions.
  • Contract and salary aligned with experience and profile, in compliance with the CCNL Commercio (National Collective Labour Agreement for the Commerce sector).
