The week of Ferragosto is approaching – a time when much of Italy takes a break, but for those of us working in temperature-controlled logistics, it’s a period that requires even more precision and planning.
At Fresh Ways, we’ve organised an adjusted schedule of departures and collections to ensure that all shipments continue to move smoothly, even during this sensitive holiday week. Our goal is to maintain the high level of service our clients expect, while adapting to seasonal slowdowns and closures.
Adjusted departures
To accommodate the mid-August holidays, the following departures have been brought forward:
Tuesday 12/08 → moved to Monday 11/08
- Goods delivered to our depots by 12:00 on Monday 11/08
- Booking via Omnia by 10:00 on Friday 08/08
Friday 15/08 → moved to Thursday 14/08
- Goods delivered to our depots by 12:00 on Thursday 14/08
- For shipments requiring customs clearance → by 12:00 on Wednesday 13/08
Bookings via Omnia
Without customs operations → by 10:00 on Wednesday 13/08
With customs operations → by 10:00 on Tuesday 12/08

For all destinations, please prepare goods at least 24 working hours earlier than usual.
